Catherine M (Tabery) Harren
Catherine (Cathy) Passed away in peace on January 28th, 2025.
She was born on March 21,1936 in Wadena, MN, to Anthony and Ida Tabery. She was married to Larry Harren, Sr. and was a wonderful, loving mother of two, with four grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Cathy and Larry lived, worked and owned several small businesses, including the "Edge of the Ledge" restaurant in the St. Cloud, Foley, MN and surrounding communities before semi retiring in a Southwestern suburb of Minneapolis. Cathy lived in the St. Michael, MN community for her past nineteen years. Cathy was skilled at making the simple things in her life so very special. She enjoyed making flower arrangements and in the recent years alone, bonded with her cockatiel birds, Awesome and Seymour. She enjoyed a walk-through gardens to appreciate anything in bloom. Her strength and determination carried her through many challenges in her life; but her quick wit and humor showed how she embraced life's moments.
She will be deeply missed by her children, Sheryl Deppa Carter, Larry Jr. (Christine)Harren; four grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Anthony and Ida Tabery, husband Larry, Sr., Sisters Annie and Agnes, brothers Martin, Arthur, Bernard and Jerome.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Dementia Society of America in loving memory of Cathy. https://www.dementiasociety.org/donate
