Catherine Hillesheim age 88 of New Ulm died at Living Meadows at Luther in Madelia.

Private family Mass of Christian Burial will be at the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity followed by a burial at the New Ulm Catholic Cemetery.

Catherine was born November 1, 1937 on the home farm in Stark Township, Sleepy Eye to Peter and Katherine (Moldan) Goblirsch. She graduated from St. Mary's High School in 1955. She was employed at First Security Bank until her marriage to Lester Hillesheim on April 14, 1959.

She was a devoted homemaker and took great pride in caring for her family. Her greatest joy in life was her children, grandchildren and great -grandchildren. She loved them all dearly.

She is survived by her husband Lester of 66 years. Sons, Ronald Hillesheim, Glen (Ursula) Hillesheim; daughters, Karen (Dean) Sellner and Carol (Mark) Portner. Grandchildren, Anthony (Dr Marissa Beiling), Amber (Riley) Hillesheim, Brad (Becky) Sellner Katie (Brandon) Griffith and Natalie Sellner. Great grandchildren Millie, Leo and Penny Sellner and Daphne Hillesheim. Siblings, Margaret Schwartz, Cletus (Delores) Goblirsch and sister-in-law Loretta Goblirsch.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Martin (Deloris) Goblirsch. Fr. Leo Goblirsch, Aloysius Goblirsch, sisters Cecilia, Gertrude (Leonard) Grunig, Sr Maria Goretti-"Rosalia", Arlene (Gerald) Schroepfer, brother-in-law Bud Schwartz.
