Catherine E. (Clemens) Kenyon, 86, died Friday, August 6, 2021, after a short period of declining health, surrounded by her loving family. She was born, raised, and educated in the Fishtown section of Philadelphia. Catherine married Donald Kenyon at the age of 18, and together they shared over 59 years of marriage, until his death in 2012. Catherine, Cathy to many, and Donald moved their young family to Canton in 1960, where they raised their 6 children. She was an incredible wife and mother, who selflessly opened her home to all! Cathy was the cafeteria supervisor at the New England Sinai Hospital for many years, retiring in 2000. She also worked at Doyle's Catering in Dorchester on the weekends to help support those family extras. Cathy enjoyed caring for her family, conversing with her friends, and cooking for all. She attended the Faith Baptist Church in Stoughton. Above all, Cathy's favorite moments were being surrounded by her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Cathy is survived by her children: Donald J. Kenyon and his wife Barbara of Easton; Ronald W. Kenyon and his wife Nancy of Raynham; Robert T. Kenyon and his wife Elizabeth of Foxboro; Steven N. Kenyon and his partner Jeffrey L. Rocha of New Bedford; Laurie A. Moore and her husband Brian of Stoughton; David S. Kenyon and his wife Tammy of Canton; daughter-in-law Jennifer L. Wilderness of Bellingham; and honorary son Craig Jordan and his wife Pamela of Taunton. Cathy was the loving Nana of: Brian and his wife Tina Kenyon, Christen Kenyon; Olivia Kenyon; Nathan Burroughs, Gabriella Garber and her husband Patrick; Meghan and Corlainey Moore; Warren, Brittany, Nicholas and the late Kaleigh Kenyon; Christopher and his wife Hannah, Michael, and Amanda Jordan. Cathy was the great grandmother of Caleb, Hannah, Cooper, Skylar, Snow, and Adalyn. She is also survived by her siblings: Park Clemens of New Jersey, and Dorothy Barnes, Leroy, and James Clemens of Pennsylvania. Cathy is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Visiting Hours will be held in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 from 4-7 PM. Funeral Services will be held in the Faith Baptist Church, Stoughton on Thursday at 11 AM. Interment will take place at a later date at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne. In lieu of flowers, donations in Cathy's memory may be made to the American Red Cross, PO Box 37839, Boone, IA 50037-0839. Directions and obituary at www.farleyfh.com.

I'm so sad to hear this news. Cathy was a mother to anyone that let her love them. I spent many an overnight @ the Kenyons' house. She took me in as one of her own. Blessings on her family.

Dear Cathy (second mom),

Thank you for all the memories over all the years. The memories that I hold most dear are: times I slept over waking up to a homemade breakfast, the time's that I would come home for Christmas and other times and we'd reminisce about passed years, And also the time you comforted me when I thought that my world had ended when my dad passed. You gave me very encouraging words. I'm going to miss you terribly. I love and always will love you. Your legacy, memories, and all the good times will always be embedded in my heart.
