Published by Legacy on Oct. 29, 2025.
CATHERINE ELIZABETH CAMERON LINCUL
June 11, 1945 – October 23, 2025
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Catherine "Kay" Elizabeth Lincul (nee Cameron) at Treasure Coast Hospice in Stuart, Florida on October 23, 2025.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband Domenick "Linc" Marion Lincul and her brother Clarence "Larry" Woods Cameron. Kay will be forever loved and remembered by her sister Patricia Mae Cameron Drouillard (Jim), niece Kameron Dickerson (Dan), nephew Jason Drouillard (Miranda), great nieces, many cousins and friends. Kay's parents were Clarence Gregory Cameron, originally from Nova Scotia and Mary Agnes Woods Cameron from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Kay was born on June 11,1945 in Queens, NY and lived with her family there and in Jamaica, NY. She enjoyed many summer vacations at her maternal grandparents' home in Pittsburgh, Pa and at her paternal grandparents' family farm in Nova Scotia. In 1965 she moved to West Palm Beach, Florida, where she met her future husband, Linc.
Kay was a beautiful, independent and brilliant woman who was blessed with a wonderful sense of humor and incredible memory. Her years of employment included working for the South Florida Water Management District and then for over 25 years for the Federal Government. She was a Senior Agent for the United States Internal Revenue Service, traveling throughout the country and training other agents.
Kay's interests included the US Government and the history of Scotland, Ireland and the United Kingdom. One of her favorite trips was with 15 of her paternal relatives to the Highlands of Scotland to visit members of her father's Cameron Clan. She enjoyed doing research, listening to podcasts on her computer, Irish music, oldies and the music of Ray Charles.
She dearly loved all her dogs and cats who gave her love and companionship throughout the years, especially her latest cat, Oreo. She was very happy in her lovely home on Rocky Point in Stuart, Florida.
Kay will be buried in her grandparents Woods family plot, alongside her brother Larry, in All Saints Braddock Catholic Cemetery, Pittsburgh, Pa. T
A Committal Service will be held in the chapel of Braddock Catholic Cemetery on Thursday, November 13, at 12:30 p.m.
Her family is thankful for all the prayers and help they have received at this difficult time, especially from Kay's dear friends Cheryl, Glenn and Julie and all the doctors and nurses who gave her wonderful care.
In lieu of flowers, donations, if desired, may be made in Kay's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or stjude.org
May Kay rest in peace.
