Catherine Ogden, lovingly known as Cathy, passed away on April 22, 2024, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was born on April 20, 1958, in Mobile, Alabama. Cathy's presence in this world was marked by her unwavering dedication to her family and community.

Cathy's proudest accomplishments were rooted in the love she shared with her husband of 33 years, Jeff. Witnessing her children succeed in their education and careers brought immense pride to her heart. Facilitating the spiritual growth of her children and grandchildren within the Catholic faith brought Cathy profound joy and fulfillment.

Throughout her life, Cathy enriched the lives of many as a devoted wife and mother. Her commitment extended beyond her immediate family as she selflessly served at Rosary Catholic School and St. Francis of Assisi Parish. Whether it was as a teacher's aid or after-school care leader, Cathy's impact was deeply felt by those around her.

One of Cathy's many talents was her ability to create culinary delights, with her spaghetti and meatballs being a particular favorite among her loved ones. Her generous spirit shone through when she cooked over 1000 meatballs for a parish event. Cathy cherished the holidays, infusing them with joy and warmth for her family. Easter held a special place in her heart as she delighted in crafting handmade baskets for her children and grandchildren.

Family meant everything to Cathy, especially spending time with family and baking with her granddaughter Lulu. Her infectious laughter and great sense of humor brightened many days. Being a devoted Catholic, Cathy's compassionate nature and giving heart were evident in all aspects of her life.

Surrounded by loved ones, Cathy peacefully passed away while fighting gallantly to remain with her beloved family. In honoring her life and legacy, visitation will be held on April 26, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM at 23rd St - Smith & Kernke Funerals & Cremations in Oklahoma City. A Mass celebrating Cathy's life will take place on April 27, 2024, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church at 1:00 PM.

Cathy is survived by her loving husband Jeff; daughters Stephanie, Barbara, Rikki; siblings Margaret, William, Thomas, Diane, Valerie, Beverly; numerous nieces and nephews; along with 11 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and one more blessing on the way. She is preceded in death by her son Blake; stepson Bryan; brother John.

In every smile shared with loved ones around a dinner table or during memorable outings to baseball games and concerts that showcased her eclectic taste in music - Cathy's spirit will live on forever in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know such a remarkable woman.

Rest peacefully dear Catherine Ogden—you have left an indelible mark on this world through your kindness and love that will never be forgotten.
