Catherine "Casey" Percell

Catherine "Casey" J. Percell, aged 71, of Blanchardville, WI, passed away on August 26, 2025. Casey was born on April 9, 1954, to Marion and Loantafay Percell in Andrews, Indiana.

Casey lived in Andrews, Indiana until she went to Ball State University in 1973. She lived where her schooling took her until she moved to Wisconsin in 1984. She was a well-educated woman having attended multiple colleges and earning several bachelor's and master's degrees. Casey earned bachelor's degrees from Ball State and a law degree from Suffolk University in Boston, Massachusetts. She earned master's degrees in public policy and urban and regional planning from UW Madison. Casey worked in urban and regional planning for a variety of different cities including the cities of Madison, Janesville, Beloit, and Media, Pennsylvania.

Casey was a true Wisconsin fan supporting UW Madison and the Packers. She enjoyed watching and attending UW Football and UW Women's Basketball games as well as tuning into the Packer games as much as she could. She cherished going with her friends and mom. Casey enjoyed spending time watching tv, listening to music, and spending time with her cats.

She is preceded in death by her parents Marion and Loantafay; her brother, Stanley; and her aunts and uncles.

She is survived by her close friends Beverly (Ruth Oren) Feltz and Linda Kerkhoven. A nephew Adam Ward. Two nieces Taumara McDonald of Huntington, IN and Scotia Mockobee of Gas Light, IN. As well as her two cats, Gracie and Tucker.

A service will be held on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Blanchard Hall, 204 S. Main Street, Blanchardville, WI 53516.
