Catherine Donnelly Postek

Cathy introduced me to her cousin Harry Suber in 1960 when he came to Clemson and contacted her for a double blind date. Cathy's date Dave didn't work out but Harry and I will celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary this August(2019).
I greatly admired Cathy's sophistication and intellect . Sara Jo, Sandy,Cathy and I had some fun summers in Greenville, SC in the 60's.

Your Mother was a lovely girl. We grew up together and were roommates at Winthrop our first 2 years at Winthrop. Her intelligence amazed me. A conversation with Cathy would always be good!I will miss her terribly.

My dearest Andrew, I will miss your Mom so deeply, as will all who knew her. My deepest condolences are with you and her loving family and friends in this time of devastating loss. Your Mom was such an intelligent, gorgeous, generous, brilliant shining star of a woman, who always made me feel so comfortable, appreciated, cherished, and loved. She always had the greatest stories to tell, and the most positive attitude, and her sparkling blue eyes were always so vibrantly full of life. . She is truly irreplaceable and unforgettable. There will forever be a hole left in my heart. I pray you take comfort in knowing that her spirit will forever live on through you, her greatest pride and joy. She is surely smiling down upon you. As we celebrate her remarkable life, know that she will always be with us, and in our hearts. I hope you will find comfort in all of the happy memories. There is no one ever quite like a Mom, especially a Mom so extraordinary. Your Mom has always had such a strong way of showing love, I can still feel it from here, and always will. I am so blessed and grateful to have been part of her incredible life. May she be in peace now and for eternity. She will, ALWAYS, be remembered with my very fondest admiration. Her beautiful soul will forever have an impact on all of us. All of my love is with you in this time.

My thoughts and prayers to Andy and Family. Even though I didn't get the opportunity to be around Cathy very much, I remember her being a beautiful and very classy Lady. You have my deepest sympathies.
