Catherine Patricia Stelfox

Unfortunately I just received the news that Catherine passed away this past August, 2023. It is now November, 2023, and my heartfelt sympathies and condolences to her and prayers for a wonderful person. We worked at the Bank for many, many years. We would enjoy our lunch together many, many times. She was always cheerful and outgoing. She made me laugh over and over. I would visit her numerous times at her lovely big house down the Street from the Walden Savings Bank. We would eat at the Walden Diner and we would shop at the Thruway Mart in Walden. We had so many memories together. I would call her at least twice a year. I left my position at the Bank in 2004 and kept in touch with her as best I could from my residence in North Carolina. She enjoyed her job as receptionist at the Bank and loved by her remark when she would say "It's never the wrong number when you reached the Walden Savings Bank!" Every year around Christmas time she would wear her Christmas hat and answer the phone with jingling bells and a heardy Ho, Ho, Ho. My sympathies to her Family. Love, Jill Horton n/k/a Jill Freytag
