Catherine Pauline Swint

Catherine Pauline Swint, 75, of New Marshfield, passed away on December 30, 2024 at home, surrounded by family. She was born in Galena, Ohio on October 16, 1949 to the late Marcus Homer and Geraldine (Thornton) Mann. She married Elbie Swint, Sr., and he preceded her in death on Christmas Day of 2017. 

Those left to cherish the memories of Catherine include children Deandria Lynn (Bill) Higgins, Mary Candice Swint, and Elbie Jose Swint II; numerous grandchildren; nieces, nephews, friends and family. 

Catherine cared for the community for 30 years as a trusted staff member of General Electric until her retirement. When she wasn’t working she loved to spend time with her family.

Immediate family will greet friends and family from 11am to 1pm, Monday, January 13, 2025, at Newcomer Northeast, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, OH 43231. A service to honor Catherine’s life will be held at 1pm, Monday, January 13, 2025, at Newcomer Northeast, officiated by Pastor Donnie Ryan. Burial to follow at Fancher cemetery.
