Catherine Roda Walker, age 46, of Roosevelt, passed away peacefully on March 23, 2025 at the Lakeview Hospital in Bountiful, after a 6 year battle.
    Catherine was born November 1, 1978 in Naval, Philippines to Victorioso Rosales and Rosela Buena Roda.  She married Todd Walker.
    Catherine was a cherished member in the Filipino community. She was known for her style, kindness, and personality. She was a dedicated woman and always put others before her. She was the type of woman you only meet once in a lifetime.  She was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, and friend. The love she had for her family never went unnoticed. She created a warm welcoming home. Catherine’s love, legacy, and service will live in our hearts forever.  
    She is survived by her children, Coco Young, Levi Garrison, Abigail Garrison and Jacob Garrison, her mother, Rosela Buena Roda, her uncle, Aldim Roda, aunts, Adelfa Roda Caril, Mila Roda Alcantra, Thelma Roda Breakke, Elena Roda, Vilma Roda, Robina Roda Sabagkit, sisters, Jenny Arogante Carriro, Jennet Arogante, Genes Arogante, Gennellyn Arogante, Marissa Amit, Ann Narido Rosales and many friends and relatives.
    She is preceded in death by her father, Victorioso Rosales, her grandmother,Rufina Buena Roda, and her uncle, Arnulfo Buena Roda.
    Funeral service will be held to honor her on Saturday, April 5, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at the Roosevelt East Stake Center. Viewings will be held at the Hullinger Mortuary on Friday, from 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. and Saturday at the church from 10:00 - 10:45 a.m.
    Burial will be in the Roosevelt Memorial Park.
    The family requests everyone who is coming to wear black and/or red. As red was her favorite color.
