Cathie Eileen Goode née Quimby of Eaton, CO, went home to be with the Lord Jesus Christ on the morning of October 13, 2024, after a four-year battle with cancer. She was 63 years old.
Cathie was born on December 13, 1960, to Clifford and Shirley Quimby in Greeley, CO. She graduated from Weld Central High School in Keenesburg, CO, in 1979. She worked as a baker and provided care to several children as a foster parent. Cathie also possessed a strong entrepreneurial spirit and operated several home-based businesses, including Tupperware, Scentsy, Farmasi, and Paparazzi.
With a radiant smile and a magnetic personality, Cathie befriended people everywhere she went. She had a kind heart and truly enjoyed sharing her love with everyone, from her closest family members to strangers on the street. It was impossible to meet her without having her touch your life in a very special way.
Cathie is survived by her husband, James Goode of Eaton, CO, her son Joshua Goode and his wife Sarah of Ann Arbor, MI, and her son Levi Goode and his wife Dayvie of Loveland, CO. She was preceded in death by her parents, as well as her sisters, Deborah Blackston and Doreen Ehn.
Although she was deeply loved and will be missed greatly by many people, her saving faith in Christ means that we need not say, “goodbye.” Instead, we can say, “see you soon,” as we anxiously await our reunion with her in heaven.
