Cathy Tyree Pointer Piper

BREMEN - Cathy Tyree Pointer Piper, 55, of Bremen, died Tuesday, July 12, 2011 at 8:03AM at Medco Center Nursing Home in Henderson. Ms. Piper was born September 19, 1955. She was a restaurant worker and sitter for the elderly. She was preceded in death by her father, George Tyree and husband, Richard Pointer. Survivors include her mother, Reba Cooper of Greenville; sons Richard (Shelia) Pointer of Bremen and George (Tracy) Pointer of Madisonville; sisters Charlotte Rogers, Cindy Laster, and Cheryl Jenkins, all of Greenville, and Carol Strader of Madisonville; and grandchildren Christopher Hopkins and Kacy Hopkins, both of Bremen; and Hailey Harn of Madisonville; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Friday, July 15, 2011 at 10:00AM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Rev. Cody Crowell officiating. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
