Cecelia M. Joyce

Cecelia M. Joyce, 79, of Williamsport, passed away at UPMC Williamsport unexpectedly following a short illness on Dec. 17, 2025, she was surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Nanticoke, Luzerne County, on August 8, 1946, a daughter of the late John and Frances Puzio.

Cecelia chose accounting as her career. After leaving the accounting department at the former Park Home, she worked in accounting for over 17 years with the Susquehanna Council of The Boy Scouts of America. Cecelia was a member of the former Annunciation Church, now St. Joseph the Worker.

Surviving are her husband of 55 years, Thomas R. Joyce; son, Thomas P. Joyce and his wife Carrie Joyce; grandchildren, Meghan and Thomas A. Joyce; a brother, John Puzio and his wife Debra Puzio; sister, Carol and her husband Daniel Comorski, and a brother-in-law, Larry Karis.

In addition to her parents, a sister, Mary Ann Karis preceded her in death.

The family will receive family and friends on Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2025 from 11 to 1:00 pm at the funeral home.

A funeral service will be held at Crouse Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 133 E. 3rd St., Williamsport on Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2025 at 1:00 pm with the Rev. David Bechtel officiating, burial will follow at Wildwood Cemetery.
