Cecelia "Peitie" Osborne

Cecelia "Peitie" Osborne, born on August 25, 1941, peacefully passed away on March 26, 2026. 

Cecelia was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Osborne; her brothers, Bill and Junior; and her parents, John (Emma Jean) Phillips and Roxie Phillips. They now rest in peace, remembered with love by all who knew them.

She is survived by her devoted children: Rita (Jim) Pieprzyk, Frieda (Stan) Mitchell, Bobby (Teresa) Osborne, Rhonda (Oscar) Lopez, Jeffrey (Patricia) Osborne, and Tricia (Bill) Peer. Their lives were deeply enriched by Cecelia’s guidance and affection.

Her legacy continues through her many grandchildren: Sarah, Matthew (Lorrie) Osborne, Jeremy, Tiffany, Ryan (Kari), Brian, Nicholas (Jessica), Brandon (Jaime), Jennifer (Scott), Jeffrey S. Jr. (Lisa) Flisnik, Christopher (Megan), Jessica, Dani (Scott) Devoe, Tyler Kuhn, Amanda (Mike) Harrison, and Tyler Peer. Each one carries a special memory of her kindness and care.

Cecelia was also a proud great-grandmother to Jaycob, Jonathon, Lucas, Wyatt, Abby (Jovante), Kaden, Alexa, Greyson, Raige, Savana, Hailey, Blake, Brian Jr., Dominic, Bentley, Byron, Madden, Hunter, Sawyer, Savanna, Sierra, Destiny, Isabell, Lucinda, Lucas, Chayce, Breya, Alexzander Barrera, Adriana, Cadiene, Juan, Brooklyn, Ashley, Tyler, Macy, and Dawson. Her nurturing spirit will live on in each of them.

Continuing further, she cherished her great-great-grandchildren: Jovante Jr, Nova, Camdyn, Khaleesi, Ryder, Serenity, Brayland, Noah, and Miles. Their joyful laughter was a source of happiness for Cecelia.

Cecelia is also survived by her siblings: Johnny, Gilda, Diana Lynn, and Donna Jean, along with many nieces and nephews who remember her with affection.

Services in honor of Cecelia will be held on Monday, March 30, 2026, at The Trenton Chapel - Martenson Family of Funeral Homes located at 3200 West Rd, Trenton, MI 48183. Visitation will take place from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with the funeral service beginning at 6:00 PM. 

Cecelia "Peitie" Osborne's life was marked by the love she gave so freely to her family and the joy she found in crafting with her hands. She will be missed but forever cherished in the hearts of those who loved her.
