Cecil Brown

Mr. Robert "Cecil" Brown, age 83, passed away, Monday, February 24, 2025, at his home in Cove, Arkansas, surrounded by loved ones. He was born April 18, 1941, in Watson, Oklahoma, to parents, Arthur Eugene and Minnie Beatrice (Manning) Brown. Cecil was a tool and die maker by profession, working for Whirlpool for many years. He was known as a jack of all trades. Cecil enjoyed photography, videography, gardening, cooking, and playing solitaire. He was also considered to be the family doctor. Cecil is preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Eugene and Minnie Beatrice (Manning) Brown; as well as by twelve brothers and sisters. He is survived by his beloved wife, Rosella Brown; son, Thomas Brown; daughter, Julia Haller and husband Brett; grandchildren, Blake Haller and wife Nicole, Cory Haller, and Angie Brown; great-grandchildren, Penny Haller; as well as by a host of nieces, nephews, other family, and friends too numerous to mention. Services for Cecil Brown will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at 2:00 p.m., at the First Baptist Church of Cove, in Cove, Arkansas. Brother Ron Ladd will be officiating under the direction of Beasley-Wood Funeral Home. There will be a visitation held, Friday, February 28, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at Beasley-Wood Funeral Home.
