Cecil Campbell
Cecil Campbell, 66, husband of Tammy Campbell, went home to be with the Lord, Saturday June, 17, 2023 at Spartanburg Medical Center.
Born October 22, 1956 in Rutherford, NC., he was the son of the late Roscoe L. “Buck” Campbell and Loree Morrow Campbell. He was retired from PPG and a member of Southside Baptist Church. Cecil loved working with wood making rocking chairs and swings.
Surviving in addition to his wife are his children, Sheena Henson and fiancée Curt Jenkins of Gaffney, Jennifer Dockery and husband James of Gaffney, Haley Mauney and husband Casey of Mooresboro, NC., step-daughters, Michelle Allen and husband Brian of Climax, NC., Jennifer Parrish and husband Randy of Kernsville, NC.; step-son, Scottie Moore and fiancée Angie Jones of Climax, NC.; sisters, Nancy Plank and husband Mike of Shelby, NC., Vida McCraw of Blacksburg, Bonnie Spears of Mooresboro, NC.; grandchildren, Miranda, Alisha, Emily, Owen; step-grandchildren, Hunter, Savannah, Jordan, Jax, Gracie, Allie, Aaron, Courtney, Jaci, Tyler; brothers and Sisters-In-Law, Michael Campbell, Don and Phyllis Lucas, Karen Summerford all of Asheboro, NC.; Bonita Lewis of Thomasville, N.C., Ricky and Cynthia Kirkman of Franklinville, NC. and Linda Kirkman of Rutherford, TX.
The family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. Thursday, June 22, 2023 at Southside Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 2:30 p.m. at the church with Rev. Dale Welch, Rev. Frank Walker and Rev. Eugene Bumgardner officiating. Burial will follow in New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery in Earl, NC.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Southside Baptist Church, 609 S. Alabama Ave. Chesnee, SC 29323.
