Cecil Clifton Fortner, 67, of Ellabell, GA passed away unexpectedly on Sunday August 25, 2024. He was born in Savannah, GA on May 4, 1957, son of the late Mr. & Mrs. D.C. and Juanita Fortner. Cecil was an avid Harley guy with a love for the outdoors. He loved to fish, hunt and garden when he had time. He spent a lot of time on the road as a trucker and taught his son everything he knows about the trucking industry. He was also a master welder. Cecil was loved by many and will be deeply missed by his friends and family.
He is survived by his only son Kevin Fortner (Ashley), the apple of his eye granddaughter Kora, as well as his sister Carol Jones (Richie), niece Kari Scott and nephew Johnathan Jones. He is also survived by his life companion Janene Fortner. Along with many Aunts, Uncles and cousins.
The family will receive friends from 2- 3 P.M. Friday, August 30, 2024 at Flanders Powell Funeral Home.
A memorial service will be held 3 P.M. Friday, August 30, 2024 in the chapel of Flanders Powell Funeral Home with Benjamin Thompson and Andy McCumber officiating.
