Funeral services for Cecil D. Guice will be held Friday, February 21, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at West Lake Baptist Church in Doyline, Louisiana with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Officiating will be Bro. Joseph Gillentine. Interment will follow at West Lake Cemetery under the direction of Rose Neath Funeral Home in Minden, Louisiana.
Cecil was born March 7, 1957, in Minden, Louisiana and went to be with the Lord February 18, 2025, in Minden, Louisiana.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Billie Jean Guice, son, Bradley Jared Meacham, father, Clyde Guice, and stepmom Carol Guice.
He is survived by his mother, Maurice Doan; sons Eric Guice (Brandi), Brandon Meacham, Bryce Meacham, Brock Meacham; daughters, Heather Morado (Jesse), Brittany Short, Mandy Lummus (Bo), and Brandy Stevens (Eddie); sisters, Patty Garcia, Denae Gillentine, Debra Wynn, Bonnie Strozier, Stacey Guice, Pam Audirsch, Sandy Adams, and Danita Russell; brothers, Jeff Guice, Doug Guice, Brian Guice, Marvin Guice; grandchildren, Tyler, Gaige, Colton, Huntlee, Elizabeth, LillieMae, Isabella, Aven, David, Jared, Alaena, AnnaLea, and John Bradley; great grandchild, Rowan, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Colton, Tyler, Gaige, Bryce, Brandon, and Jesse.
Honorary pallbearers will be Shon Tyler, Dusty Tyler, Jared Guice, John Bradley Guice, David Morado, and James Short.
