JASPER - Cecil Ray Jasper, age 51 of Lawrenceville, GA, passed away on Friday, January 17, 2025. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, January 30, 2025 in the Lawrenceville Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home. Interment will be follow at 2:00 PM at Georgia National Cemetery, 1080 Scott Hudgens Drive, Canton, GA. Cecil served his country honorably in the United States Navy and was a Mechanic for Norfolk Southern Railroad. He enjoyed going for walks, working out, and fishing. He is preceded by his brother Brandon D. Hearns. Cecil is survived by his loving wife, Daidre (Williams) Jasper of Lawrenceville, GA; daughter, Zocqueline Jasper of TX; step-children, Angelo P. Brown, Roman Brown, and Devin J. Brown, all of GA; mother, Linda Jasper of MS; father, Donnie Ray Hearns of WV; siblings, Cassandra I. Hearns, Donni Rae Hearns, and Jason R. Hearns, all of WV; 5 grandchildren; numerous family and friends. The family will receive friends 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM on Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at Tim Stewart Funeral Home, 300 Simonton Road SW, Lawrenceville, Georgia 30046. 770.962.3100.
