Cecil Johnson, age 73, of DeFuniak Springs, Florida passed away Saturday, April 1, 2023, at his home with his loved ones by his side. He was born September 8, 1949, in Panama City, Florida, to Cecil and Mozzell Johnson. Cecil was a jack of many trades and he especially enjoyed listening to the country store and cooking contest on WZEP, winning the contests the maximum times allowed. He loved to fish and drive his tractor everywhere he went.
Cecil is preceded in death by two sisters, Lorine Goddin and Millie Harrison.
Cecil is survived by two sons, Cecil Johnson, III (Brandy Bianchi) and Troy Johnson (Jodi Schneider); one grandson, Noah Johnson; two granddaughters, Kyrsten and Marissa Schneider; and five sisters, Margaret Williams, Lena Odom, Lola Johnson, Dollie Johnson, and Deborah Johnson.
A celebration of Cecil's life will be held at a later time.
Arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Watkins Funeral Home and Crematory of DeFuniak Springs.
