Cecil introduced me to my wife, Susan. At the time, he was a resident at UTMB while my wife to be was a pediatric nurse. I will therefore always be indebted to him. I wish I had known he was ill as it's hard to bear the thought that I did not get to see him again. He was a unique individual, genuine to the core. I will always miss him.
