I knew Cecilia as she lived in the apartment next door to me in the 1968 at 1950 Commonwealth Avenue Brighton Massachusetts a very charming lady. She was at that time teaching at the Boston Skating Schoo. We lived on the 4th floor on that building and one day I locked myself out of my apartment and a friend of hers climed onto the balccny and through my kitchen window to open the door from the inside. I was terrified he was going to fall. I retunred to the UK in 1974 and married in 1981,

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. In the bible it talks about a time when you will be able to see your loved one again. When you get a chance please read John 3:16.

Family Members,
You have my sincere sympathy on the loss of your loved one. Ms. Colledge achieved success as an athlete and was a pioneer for women in the skating world. She lived a long life as shown at Psalms 90:10. We look to the future when our dear loved ones will be raised from the Memorial tombs. Please read Jesus' words at John 5:28, 29. His words bring us comfort and give us hope.

I can only imagine that Ms. Colledge must have lived a wonderful life with so many accomplishments. If indeed the wonderful sprit that I see in her smile is real then we have a life worth celebrating.
May peace and blessings be with the family.

You were quite the lady Cecilia. You made the world a better place by your presence. You thrilled everyone and were harmful to no one. We will see you again........soon.

Being a ""records and statistics"" addict, I have read about you many times. Second to Sonja Henie in 1936 would have been every skaters dream. Somewhere there has got to be footage of you, especially since there is plenty of Sonja. I will come across it one day. You were part of the most beautiful sport of all.
