Cecilia S. Juarez went home to be with the Lord and to rejoin her beloved husband, Jimmy, on Thursday, November 6, 2025, after living a full life of 92 years.
Born on June 20, 1933, Cecilia was raised in Artesia, New Mexico. Following her marriage to Jimmy in 1955, she moved to Albuquerque to join Jimmy, where they shared a wonderful and fulfilling life for 67 years.
Cecilia’s greatest joy was extending her love and warmth to others. She was a natural hostess, always making sure every person was well taken care of. Her generosity continued throughout her life; one of her favorite things, even at the end, was to offer to buy people lunch or dinner.
Beyond their devotion to family and church, Cecilia and Jimmy shared a passion for travel. They often explored the country in their motorhome, driving through most of the continental United States and documenting their journeys with numerous pictures. A particularly cherished trip was their visit to Italy, where they embraced the culture and history of Jimmy's ancestral home.
She leaves behind a loving family, including Brother: Israel (Lito). Children: Lisa, Tom, and Jim. Daughter-in-laws: Madlyn and Bertha. Son-in-laws: Ryan and Costa. Grandchildren: Sarah, Teresa, Sergio, Matthew, and Adrianna. Great-Grandchildren: Carson, Kate, and Dina.
A funeral mass will be held on Monday, November 17, 2025, at 10:00 AM at St. Bernadette’s Church. 11509 Indian School Rd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87112. Cecilia and Jimmy were proud to be among the original parishioners of the church when it was first built. Details regarding a reception meal will be announced at the service.
