New Hope Funeral Home - SunnyvaleIt is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Ceedell Drinkwater, she was a beacon of light on this world, and that light gently extinguished in the early afternoon of October 13, 2025.
Ceedell Marlene Drinkwater was born to William and Sandra Klinge in Perryton, Texas, on March 2, 1972. Ceedell was a dedicated mother, sister, aunt and friend. She passed away surrounded by loved ones after a life filled with care, laughter, and compassion.
She leaves behind her son, Tristan Drinkwater (age 27), her sister, Charlene Lee (age 61), and her nieces; Heather Songer (age 42), Rashay Wolfe (age 37) and her husband Christopher. She is also survived by her great-nieces; Alexis Pyle (age 21), Lila-Rose Wolfe (age 14) and Leighann Wolfe (age 10), and her great-nephews; Angel Turner (age 19), Jack Songer (age 17), Abel Wolfe (age 4), and London Wolfe (age 2).
Ceedell worked in the hospital as a telemetry tech for over 30 years. She considered many of her coworkers as family, most recently her A7 and Methodist Health family, whom she loved dearly. Her kindness, warmth, and dedication touched countless lives-both in and outside the hospital walls.
Ceedell will be remembered for her loving heart, her fierce loyalty, and the way she made everyone feel like family. She was one of the most loving souls you could ever meet, and her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
