I met Celeste in 1962 when we both worked in the Title Guaranty Bldg. She worked for lawyers ,& I for C.P.A's. We had lunch every day & became fast friends. We both married in 1967 & I was in her wedding. The 4 of us did many things together over the years. We loved talking about our children & then our grandchildren......and of course the St. Louis Cardinals. Celeste was a very sweet person & I feel blessed to call her my very dear friend.
I am so sorry I didn't get to say good bye since we were out of town.
Please accept our sincere condolences.
Rest in peace Celeste. You will be missed!

Celeste was one of the sweetest, kindest people who walked this earth. We have been friends through grade school, high school and Celeste was in my wedding. We had many long talks over the years. I remember those talks and friendship with great fondness. I miss you my friend.

Aunt Celeste will be missed very much. She was my Godmother and was a good one. She always looked out for and spent time with me. She was like a second mom to me.. She and Uncle Joe were best friends with my parents, John and Esther, and Aunt Celeste was a good sister to my Dad. We spent much time with them in their hospitality, and their home was always open to anyone who needed a place to stay while visiting St. Louis. I LOVED HER DEARLY.

Celeste sweet celeste. I have known her since kindergarten. I was there when her dad died. We went to shows parties walked all around town. Saw her married played cards with her but refused to scrabble with her because she always won!!! She was the best her talent for art was there since 4th grade when she did a pencil sketch of me that was perfect. She now is at rest having a good time and she will be missed. Sherry and Tom Young

My sympathies to all of you. "Aunt" Celeste was very welcoming to me, came and helped out, when I myself had twins!! Always positive and uplifting!! She always tried to include everyone and loved to throw parties!!
She will be missed!!
