Celeste Stawski Obituary
Celeste was born on September 11, 1924, in Ambridge, Pennsylvania. She passed peacefully on May 16, 2024, in St. Petersburg, Florida where she lived since 1955. Celeste joins her husband Jerry, sons Joey and Bobby, her brothers Lewis (Uncle Chico) and Rudy (Rudy the Red) Masi and many loving family and friends in heaven.
Celeste is survived by her eldest son Jerry & wife Linda Stawski, grandsons Jon Stawski, James & wife Carrie Stawski, Michael & wife Denise Stawski, granddaughter Autumn Stawski, great grandson Alexander (Xander) Stawski, and many nieces and nephews whom she loved deeply, especially Xander!
Celeste was a loving mother, grandmother, and aunt to her family who cared deeply for her. Celeste's passion was cooking. Her specialties were all homemade including pizza, cannoli's, and most anything Italian. Celeste loved to play games, especially poker, Rummy Kub, and bingo. Her opponents were fortunate to walk away with any money. When younger, Celeste enjoyed golfing and bowling with her husband, Jerry.
Celeste was excited about living into her 100th year.
Celeste paid it forward by serving as a volunteer at St. Pete General Hospital for 24 years.
Mother, Grandma, Gigi, and Zia, your family misses you. We are glad you are at peace and celebrating with our family that passed before us and the angels!

Celeste, or "Mama Stawsk" was a constant presence for every show at St. Pete Catholic´s Drama Department; a program that was started by her son, Joe. What a beautiful human she was.
