Celestino Alberto Laporte Suliveras, amado esposo, padre, abuelo, bisabuelo y tatarabuelo, nació el 10 de julio de 1933 en Puerto Rico. Su vida fue una historia tejida con amor, fortaleza, trabajo incansable y una fe profunda que lo acompañó en cada etapa de su vida.

Celestino fue un hombre de valores firmes y corazón grande. Dedicó su vida a cuidar, proveer y proteger a los suyos. Con su espíritu trabajador y su presencia constante, se convirtió en un pilar para su familia: alguien en quien siempre se podía contar. Sin importar las circunstancias, se mantuvo firme, y siempre estuvo presente cuando más se necesitaba.

Se sentía especialmente orgulloso de la familia que formó. Fue esposo y el amado padre de ocho hijos, un abuelo lleno de ternura para veintiún nietos, un bisabuelo orgulloso de veintiséis bisnietos, y tuvo la bendición de ser tatarabuelo de 1 tataranieta. Su amor era profundo y constante, y su mayor alegría era ver a su familia unida-compartiendo, riendo y apoyándose con ese cariño que solo se construye con los años.

Quienes lo conocieron lo recordarán no solo por todo lo que hizo por su familia, sino también por esas frases que se quedaron viviendo en el corazón de todos, reflejando su sentido del humor y su manera única de mirar la vida: "La ciencia y la inteligencia," "Lo mío viene de arriba," y "Todo cae por su propio peso." Y con mucha ternura, siempre recordaremos cómo llamaba a sus nietos con tanto orgullo y cariño: "mis quimpitos." Hoy, esas palabras siguen resonando como un eco familiar que nos acompaña, recordándonos su fe, su carácter y su esencia.

Celestino falleció el 17 de enero de 2026, en St. Petersburg, Florida, a los 92 años. Su recuerdo vivirá siempre en nuestros corazones.

Celestino Alberto Laporte Suliveras, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and great-great-grandfather, was born on July 10, 1933, in Puerto Rico. His life was a story woven with love, strength, tireless hard work, and a deep faith that accompanied him through every stage of his life.

Celestino was a man of strong values and a big heart. He devoted his life to caring for, providing for, and protecting his loved ones. With his hardworking spirit and steady presence, he became a pillar for his family-someone they could always count on. No matter the circumstances, he remained strong and was always there when he was needed most.

He felt especially proud of the family he built. He was a husband and the beloved father of eight children, a loving grandfather to twenty-one grandchildren, a proud great-grandfather to twenty-six great-grandchildren, and he was blessed to become a great-great-grandfather to one great-great-granddaughter. His love was deep and constant, and his greatest joy was seeing his family united-sharing, laughing, and supporting one another with the kind of love that can only be built over time.

Those who knew him will remember him not only for everything he did for his family, but also for the phrases that stayed living in everyone's hearts, reflecting his sense of humor and his unique way of looking at life: "Science and intelligence," "What I have comes from above," and "Everything falls under its own weight." And with great tenderness, we will always remember how he called his grandchildren with so much pride and affection: "my quimpitos." Today, those words still echo like a familiar reminder that stays with us, bringing back his faith, his character, and his essence.

Celestino passed away on January 17, 2026, in St. Petersburg, Florida, at the age of 92. His memory will live forever in our hearts.
