ESPAÃ‘A--Celia M. EspaÃ±a, 94, a resident of Albuquerque, NM since 1946, went to be with our Heavenly Father on October 7, 2010. Mrs. EspaÃ±a was born on March 12, 1916 to Edwardo A. and Rosa (Tellez) Mendoza of El Paso, TX. Upon high school graduation, Celia married Henry EspaÃ±a of Leon, Guanajuato, Mexico in Williams, AZ and became a housewife and a stay at home mom. She, Henry and son Ernest moved to Albuquerque in December 1946 where Henry worked as a machinist. In 1957 Henry opened his own machine shop (Rio Grande Machine Shop) and Celia became his bookkeeper, until he retired in 1995. Celia is survived by her son, Ernest EspaÃ±a and wife Marcella; grandson, Ernest EspaÃ±a, Jr. and wife Beverly; granddaughter, Christine EspaÃ±a Hernandez and husband Adrian; and three great-grandsons, Joshua and Jacob EspaÃ±a and Dominic Hernandez. A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 11, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. at Mt. Calvary Cemetery 1900 Edith Blvd. NE. Please visit our online guestbook for Celia at www.RememberTheirStory.com.
