Celinda “Ann” Davis was born in Ponca City, Oklahoma on January 22, 1957, to the late Lee Roy and Dorothy “Hadlock” McMahan. She passed away in Tulsa surrounded by family in the early hours of May 5th, 2025.
She spent parts of her childhood in Oroville, California, helping her family pick fruit as a child before returning to Kay County and attending Lamont and Ponca City Schools.
She worked for years at Titus Manufacturing. After she could no longer work, she committed her lifetime to helping others. She served at The Mission in Ponca City for decades, helping to feed the hungry, and meeting the needs of others. She lived a lifetime of service, often sacrificing her own needs to help others and always doing so without judgment. She was a longtime member of Four Square Church. She ran the church’s kitchen and helped serve in the youth department for many years. She never met a stranger and continued making friends in her stops in Stillwater, Jones, and Tulsa, Oklahoma.
She is pre-deceased in death by her parents, brothers Mark and David, and her twin sister “Nan”. She is survived by children Sebrina Parker, Jimmy Davis Jr., and Shasta Davis, and siblings: Cheryl, Bruce, Karen, Leonard, Terrilyn, and Joe. She also helped to raise many children and considered herself as “Mama Bear” to Sheena McMahan, the late Randy Davis, and the late Stephanie Cantero. She is also survived by grandchildren: Brett, Jade, Christian, Fisher, Candace, Breanna, Chelsea, and Amariana and two great-grandchildren: Mason and Maliah.
