Cervando Navarrete, age 67, a resident of
Veguita, New Mexico, passed away on December 19, 2025. He was born on October 23, 1958, in Ricardo Flores Magon, Santa Maria del Oro, Mexico to his devoted parents, Maria Ventura Rayos and Jesus Navarrete. He was a man of faith, love, and unwavering strength.
Cervando dedicated his life to the construction industry. His hard work and dedication were not only displayed in his professional life but also in the church, where he served loyally for over a decade. The same hands that helped pave concrete projects across Colorado and New Mexico also spent years in service to his faith and community.
He was a loving and caring man who was always there for his family and friends. His kind nature touched everyone around him, making him a beloved figure in his community. He was a servant of the people, always putting others before himself. His hardworking nature wasn't just confined to his career; he was also a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather.
Cervando had a special love for tending to his animals and working in his garden. He found peace and joy in the simplicity of nature. His passion for the earth was only surpassed by the love he had for his family and the Lord. He cherished every moment he spent with his family, creating memories that they will forever hold dear.
He is survived by his wife, Celia Navarrete, and the children they shared: Kito (Jose), LizAndra, Krystal, and April Navarrete. He was a loving father-in-law to Victor, Erick, Adan, and Vero. His legacy will continue to live on in his grandchildren, Janice, Joel, Martin, Idaly, Nicole, Julian, Victor, and those to come.
He was a man of immense strength and kindness, and his passing leaves a void that can never be filled. His love for his family and his unwavering faith have been a guiding light for all those who had the privilege to know him.
Cervando Navarrete leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and service. He will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all those who were fortunate to have known him. A funeral service for Cervando will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at Noblin Funeral Service Belen Chapel. A visitation will take place at 11:00 am, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 pm. Cervando will then be laid to rest at Terrace Grove Cemetery immediately following services.
