Chad Elliott Craycraft

On February 28, 2026, Chad E. Craycraft, age 41, passed away unexpectedly at home. He was born September 23, 1984, in Clearwater, Florida, to Sherry and James A. Craycraft. He was a family man and there's nothing he wouldn't do for family! He fought and won every battle in life with a smile while doing so. If you knew Chad, you loved him and he always made you laugh on your darkest of days. Growing up he was very passionate about the sports he played alongside his brother and that's where he met many lifelong friends. He was a forklift operator at R&L Carriers where he provided the best life he could for his family. He will be missed by all that knew him.

He is preceded in death by his cousin, Shelly Russell and his papaw, Ralph Saunders.

He is survived by his grandma, Carolean Hammersley; his parents, Sherry and Mike Armitage; his wife, Tiffany Craycraft; his children, Teegan, Titan & Paisley; his furbabies Nova & Gizmo; sister, Jessica (Andrew) McGuire; brother, Steve (Tina) Craycraft; along with his aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that will miss him deeply!

Funeral services will be held 5:00 pm Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at Brown Funeral Home, Wilmington. Visitation will start at 3:00 pm until service begins at 5:00 at the funeral home.
