Chad Michael Wilcox

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Chad Michael Wilcox on February 26, 2026. Born on April 3, 1973, in Great Falls, MT, Chad's life was a testament to the power of generosity, dedication, and compassion. He was a man who valued family above all else, and his actions reflected these values. Through his Air Force career, he was able to experience many places around the world. From his birthplace in Montana to his early life in New York Mills, MN, to his Air Force service of South Korea, and finally to his home in Ogden, Utah.

Chad's professional journey led him to a Air Force career where he developed technology skills for his later role as an IT System Administrator. He had a love for music which he shared with family and friends as a DJ at events and even at work. His dedication was evident in his service to his country, having retired from the Air Force. This same dedication also shone through in his commitment to his family and his work. His generous spirit was felt by those who had the pleasure to work with him and those fortunate enough to call him a friend.

Chad is survived by his loving family: his parents, Lowell and Doris Wilcox of Richville, MN; his brother, Craig (Brenda) Wilcox of Sun Prairie, WI; his former wife, Mechell Moore and their son, Carl Wilcox of Beaverton, OR; his former wife, Michelle Kruel and her son, John Sagan of South Ogden, UT; their son, Michael "MJ" Wilcox of Layton, UT; and their daughter, Mia Wilcox of Layton, UT. Chad's generous heart and unwavering dedication will be deeply missed by those who knew him.

Services entrusted to Myers Mortuary in Ogden, UT. A public viewing will be held on Sunday, March 1st from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at 845 Washington Boulevard, Ogden, UT 84404.
