William Chadwick Wright, affectionately known as Chad to his friends and family, departed this life on August 9, 2024, at the age of 46. He was born on March 9, 1978, in Charleston, S.C.
Chad is survived by his mother, Wanda Ware Wright, his wife, Theresa Muse Wright, and his daughter, Madison Wright. He will be fondly remembered by his brothers Wes Wright and his wife Julie, Brad Wright, and his sister Deidre Wright, and several aunts and uncles. Chad was predeceased by his father, Daniel Wesley Wright, and his sister, Reagan Hixson.
Professionally, Chad was known for his skill as a heavy equipment operator. His colleagues admired his work ethic and his camaraderie both on and off the job.
Chad's passion for the outdoors was evident in his love for fishing and hunting. He enjoyed playing cards and was also renowned for being a prankster. Those who knew Chad will remember him as friendly, funny, and selfless.
