Challis Was born On February 6th, 1976 to Lovene Redstone and the late Wilfred Skinner in Fort Yates, ND. As a young girl she spent a lot of time with her grandma Barabara up until her passing, she enjoyed riding her bike and being around her friends, and family. In 1980 Lovene married Robert Condon where he adopted Challis and her little sister Chenille spent lots of time together. Then one day, Chenille asked Challis to join her in playing house and that's when Chenille told her you be my Sister, Ok? From then on Challis was called Sister and that never changed. It grew with her, from then on we all called her Sister.
Challis attended Head Start, Elementary, and High School in Fort Yates, ND. Her family moved to Ocean Park, Washington. She loved being by the ocean while living very close to the ocean. In the late 1980s, she and her family moved back to Fort Yates, ND. In Her Adolescent years Sister was a big fan of the NKOTB she loved going to concerts with friends, challis was a very kind, caring person, which she had a smile and would keep a smile on many friends and family face she was a big help on raising her little sister chenille and little brother Tyson. In 1990, she met Glenn White Bull from that union. She had 3 sons, Scout, Keegan, and LaDainian White bull. Years later she married Glenn, which she gained stepchildren, which she loved all as her very own. Challis was employed at Prairie Knights casino, and she was a fulltime mother. In the year 2000 she attended Rasmussen business college in Bismarck, ND working towards her bachelor's degree. In 2004 Challis was in a car accident which then she was confined to a wheelchair but hey that didn't get in her way of living her life. In 2010 challis has received her Indian name which fit her because she had the passion to care for others in need of help. In 2020 she caught covid which nearly took her life. Challis was a strong fighter when it came to her getting sick. Covid ended up leaving her to live with having lung problems when she had to depend on oxygen machines up until her passing.
Challis enjoyed the holidays with her family and friends. She would decorate mom's house for the holidays. She loved to cook as a young girl to adult teaching her nieces and nephews to cook and bake. They enjoyed spending time with her. She was an auntie and mom to her nieces and nephews. She was a big help in raising her little sister Chenille and little brothers Tyson Redstone and Stoney End Of Horn. She became a grandma to Aubrey Rose, Blake, Keelan, Mila, Kaslan, Adeya, and Makheya White Bull. She was always happy when she had each of them around her. She was also grandma to Symbria Grace. Challis enjoyed going to concerts with family and friends. She always had a good time going to the powwow's where her brother and sister danced. Her nieces Hailey and Nation danced, also her nephew Chubs danced. She always encouraged them by telling them to do this move, and that move, while using her body movements. Throughout the years she has gained many friends, nieces, and nephews. Some we may forget or forget how to spell them because of how they were pronounced.
