Chamin Correa

I am deeply saddened to learn of his passing. Today would have been his birthday and I am certain angels in heaven are rejoicing because he is playing beautiful music for them to enjoy as we have on earth for as long as we have. My sincerest condolences go out to his family who must know that many of us are blessed to know that his music will live on to be enjoyed by us all.

I grew up listening to his Music in my Dad’s Cantina in Falfurrias, Texas, Uno gran talento, uno de Los Grandes en el Mundo de Los Trios. Un Romantico que nos dio tanta Algeria. Que en Paz Descanse Don Chamin, un verdadero personaje/musico que nos dio Mexico.

My Parants were born in 1925 they love his music I was born in 1960. I grew up listening to the tres caballeros.RIP

Society has lost a great guitarist who loved to play romantic songs that touched many hearts. May the Correa family gain comfort and peace during this most difficult time from the God of love.

Heaven has called another guitar-slinger back home. This one made the most of his 90+ years, leaving 150+ albums and a line of fine guitars bearing his name as reminders. Rest In Peace, CC.

He was not only a great artist, but a kind human being. He was my musical guide, my confidant, my friend. I shall miss him, but his star will keep on shining more than ever from above....thank you dear friend for everything you gave me!!!!
