Chandra May Obituary
Chandra Thomas May, daughter of the late Jordan and Ethel Moorman, was born in Wrightsville, Georgia, on Thursday, August 6, 1964. She graduated from Johnson County High school in 1982. She furthered her education at Albany State College.
Chandra was a world traveler and lived in several locations around the world. She joined James Grove Baptist Church at an early age and continued her membership at Community Missionary Baptist Church. Her deep love and commitment to her family will long live on in our lives. To know her was to love her.
Chandra passed away on Wednesday, August 21, 2024. She was preceded in death by one sister, Sharon Moorman King.
She leaves to cherish her love and memories to her loving and devoted husband, Shannon May, son, Senior Master Sergeant Kevin (Latasha) Thomas, daughter, Candace (Ali) Halim. grandchildren: Trinity and Tyler Thomas, Maya and Zavier Halim. siblings, Alvin (Ossie) Moorman, Randy and Milton Moorman, sister and best friend: Sylvia (Brady) Jefferson. devoted nieces and nephew that she assisted in raising, Shalett and Stacy Palmer, Calecia and Darian Moorman, lifelong friend, Barbara Hilson, and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
