Charla Parker Obituary
Charla Parker, 64 went to be with our Lord on June 15, 2025 in Boyd, Texas.
Funeral Service is 4 p.m. Saturday, June 21, 2025 at Hawkins Funeral Home in Boyd with burial at Boyd Cemetery. Family will receive friends Friday 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers include Taylor Morgan, Nathan Parker, Gabe Gonzalez, Hunter Parker, Jimmy Young and Robert Lumpkin.
Charla was born April 20, 1961 in Fort Worth, Texas to Charles and Anita Ruth (Delaney) Traylor. She married Darold Parker October 17, 1975 in Fort Worth, Texas. Charla worked as a secretary at the family business of Parker Electric and enjoyed taking care of her family as well. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend to many who will miss her dearly.
Charla was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Anita Traylor; and son, Clint Parker.
Those left to cherish her memory are husband of 49 years, Darold Parker of Boyd; son, Charles Parker of Boyd; daughter, Debra Morgan and wife Debbie Oliver of Justin; sisters, Sandy Crisp of Boyd and Brenda Pauli and husband Jurgen of Germany; brothers, Mike Traylor of Amarillo, Kenny Traylor of Mesquite and T.J. Crisp and wife Dwala of Briar; grandchildren, Taylor Morgan, Emma Oliver, Dakota Parker, Dalton Parker, Nathan Parker and wife Emma, Hunter Parker, Nick Howard, Ella Fair, Gabe Gonzalez, Damian Gonzalez, Tori Parker, Jack Parker and Gracey Parker; great-grandchildren, Bentley Parker, Kelley Miller, Lilly; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
