Charlene Choplin Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Louisiana Funeral Services & Crematory - Broussard on Jan. 24, 2024.
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved sister.
Charlene Choplin passed away on January 22, 2024, at the age of 68 due to her battle with illness. Charlene, who was fondly known, was born on April 17, 1955, in St. Martinville, LA to the parents of the late Charles and Earline Choplin.
She is survived by her grandson, Jase Thomas Choplin and Fiancé Torie Pisani; three sisters, Tina Byle and husband Craig of Broussard, Denise Hebert and husband Joey of Jeanerette, Susie Choplin Richard and Fiancé John of Broussard; one brother, Glenn Charles Choplin of Broussard; three nieces, Robin Williams and husband Jarvis of South Fork Colorado, Madelyn Richard of Broussard, and Kaili Choplin of Broussard.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Earline Choplin; daughter Andrea Choplin; and niece, Mary Ann Schroyer. Charlene knew no strangers and helped anyone she could. She was loved by everyone that knew her and will forever be missed dearly.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Broussard for over 50 years, and she had a strong faith in God. A memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church of Broussard on Saturday, January 27, 2024 at 10:00 AM. Pastor Weldon Moak will perform services.
