Morris
PAWTUCKET - Charlene M. Morris, 56, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, December 20, 2024. Born in Providence, she was the beloved daughter of Joseph and Josephine (Healy) Morris.
Charlene graduated from Tolman High School, Pawtucket, and was a lifelong resident of the city. She worked as an interviewer for the Rhode Island Department of Labor and Training for many years. Charlene had a spunky personality, and her laughter would light up a room. She loved all things Disney and enjoyed traveling the world. Her loving presence and constant giggles will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her beloved sister, Petrina Morris of Pawtucket; two nieces, Amber Morris-Cassidy and Kaylene Morris-Cassidy, both of Pawtucket; a grandniece, Karina Morris-Cassidy and several aunts, cousins and dear friends. She was the sister-in-law of the late Robert M. Cassidy.
Her funeral will be held on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. from CHEETHAM Funeral Home, 1012 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Cecilia Church of St. John Paul II Parish, 755 Central Ave., Pawtucket. Interment in the family lot will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to United Cerebral Palsy, 71 Arsenal Street, Watertown, MA 02742 would be appreciated.
