Charles Douglas Anderson, affectionately known as Charlie, was born on July 27, 1977, in North Little Rock, Arkansas and left this world far too soon on June 7, 2025. He was a man who embraced life with open arms, treating every moment as a precious gift. He was raised a Christian in the Assembly of God Church. A graduate of North Little Rock High School in 1995, Charlie started his journey in the flooring business at 18 years old, making his mark initially at Custom Carpets before launching his own company, Anderson Flooring. His professional life showed the dedication and passion that defined him.

In the hearts of those who knew him, Charlie was more than just a hardworking businessman; he was a vibrant spirit whose laughter could fill a room. Everybody loved Charlie—he had an extraordinary ability to connect with others, never meeting a stranger. His big personality radiated warmth. He became affectionately known as Uncle Charlie to all his chosen family, ensuring everyone felt “seen,” valued and loved. His relationship with his mother, Cleta Sue Anderson Bierman, was cherished deeply, lovingly nicknaming her "Shorty Britches" as a nod to their special bond.

Charlie was also a devoted family man. He found his soulmate and the love of his life, Ashlie Marsh Anderson and they later had their daughter, Gracie Mae Anderson, who was his pride and joy—his little light. He often called her Mae-Mae, and together, they were inseparable best buds, sharing countless moments filled with laughter and adventures.

A true sports enthusiast, Charlie was a die-hard Chicago Cubs and Bears fan. He reveled in weekends spent watching any sports available, especially his Arkansas Razorbacks. He had a passion for deer hunting, fishing, and filling weekends with beach trips, lake outings, and outdoor activities with friends and family. Known for his generosity in giving friends nicknames, he brought laughter and fun wherever he went.

Charlie's larger-than-life presence will be sorely missed, particularly by his loving family: his wife, Ashlie; his treasured daughter, Gracie; his mother, Cleta Sue, father, Gene Bierman; his devoted mothers-in-law, Sheila Marsh Bullerwell and Barbara Marsh; his sister-in-law, Kerri Marsh, and beloved nephew, Cameron Marsh. Charlie was also blessed with stepbrothers Matthew, Mark, Kenny, and Todd Bierman, who, along with chosen family members Marc and Shannon Massa (Aryonna, Trinity, and Adrian), Marcus and Cathy Fugate (Rylie and Patton), Eric Maxwell and Ashley Moler (Gannon, McCoy, and Willow), formed a strong family of unwavering love and support.

Charlie leaves behind a legacy of kindness, laughter, and deep connections. He will be remembered not only for the love he shared but also for the unforgettable impression he left on the lives he touched. He is preceded in death by his father, Odis Wayne Anderson; brother, Michael Wayne Anderson; paternal grandparents, Clyde Washington Anderson and Amy Evelyn Anderson; maternal grandparents, William Franklin Lovett, Jr. and Isabelle Carolyn Bass Lovett; father-in-law, Charlie Marsh, brother-in-law, Chad Marsh; and godparents, David and Maryann Joshlin. Charlie’s memory will forever echo in the hearts of those who had the privilege to know him.

Visitation to celebrate Charlie’s life is June 17, 2025, from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at That.Church in Sherwood, Arkansas, followed by a funeral service from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM. He will be laid to rest at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander, Arkansas, at 3:00 PM. As family and friends gather to honor Charlie, they will not only mourn the loss of an extraordinary individual but will also celebrate the many cherished memories that will live on in their hearts.
