Charles Balter Obituary
Of Mt. Laurel, NJ, passed peacefully at his home in the healing yurt on July 30, 2025, surrounded by his family. Best friend in life of Lisa Balter. Son of the late Gladys and Sidney Balter. Father of Sophia Balter, Cailean Balter and the late Jason (Heather) Balter. Grandfather of Madison, Olivia, Parker and Cash. Brother of Marian (Paul Wolfe) Moyer and Lori Nicolosi. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited Sunday, August 3, 2025, beginning 9:30 AM to PLATT MEMORIAL CHAPELS, Inc. 2001 Berlin Rd. Cherry Hill, NJ where Celebration of Life Services will begin promptly at 10:15 AM. The services will also be live streamed by clicking on the Memorial Video link at the bottom of this web page. Shiva will be observed at the late residence immediately following the services. Contributions in his memory can be made to the CJD Foundation, www.cjdfoundation.org

I am sad to learn about Chick´s passing and like so many others have been thinking of him. He was a devoted father to his eldest sons Jason and Clifton Balter, who had a close relationship with him and yet was omitted from his obituary.

Chick was awesome. Hard-Stop. AND with equal deep affection, he loved all of his children Cliff (his eldest), Jason (RIP), Sophia and Cailean. Chick - Rest in eternal peace ... and may all his children find strength support and healing in one another.
