Charlie, Four years gone, as are many memorable years spent together, still remembered as my mentor, looking back, so many things to share that you would of enjoyed or excepted, some with laughter, some with well! maybe we could try a few other's, like let's try an all female Rodeo Team, hum! not a bad idea, Chief... Charlie Green, our lovable friend, also missed, was MCing the Chief's retirement party, did a great job, he said that curl in your hair, is so destingtive of you, we all had a smile on our face. Both Charlie's went to soon. I'll tell you they were both so good to me, I am honored and always will be, for your frindship, not only continuing, and restoring, Tradition to our 85th APS. But those mentioned above stories of you growing up on the Cape, your fun loving morals, and hobbies, I can relate to, we had a great 85th picknic there, and a member (TC), landed his plane near by and did a fly bye, departure, wings rolled, for a bye for know, good friend.
Sincerly, retired Chief George Mackey

To Charlie and his lovely family
I worked with your gentle husband ,father and grandfather for several years , at AVCO, in the early 1970's . Being 10 years younger then Charlie he was in many ways a mentor to me as he was always helpful to me and could always get a job completed. When I think of the folks I've known thru the years , that I like to keep in my mind , as a positive and decent influence he is always remembered.Thinking about Charlie today I decided to Google his name and found out about your loss . I am very sorry, I'm sure he is still with us. May god bless your family.

I am so sorry to hear about Uncle Charlie's passing. I have so many memories of the house in Salem, the house on the Cape, Grammie's house and all the cousins when they were small. Some of the best years of my life. I loved to spend time Aunt Joanie-where does the time go?? I can still hear him say "Oh, is that right". As the years have passed, we have not kept in touch as our own families have grown; but whenever we met he made it feel like it was just yesterday.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and all your family.

Love, Judi
