We just found out about your dad and we are so very sorry for your loss. He was truly a wonderful man. to Joan and family, I'm not sure if I ever had the pleasure of meeting your husband and father. I did know his mother very well. when I was a child in the late 50's early 60's she lived in Florida very close to my parents and brother and sister. Many times we wold have Jo as we called Charles mother to dinner and when my Grandmother was dying she stopped everything she was doing to drive my mother and us children home so we could be with my Grandmother when she passed. I think so much of the Berner family and have such wonderful memories of Charles parent and know he is with them now and my family as well. Dr. Berner was our family dentist for years. If you were the first patient of the day you had to wait until he had that first cup of coffee and looked through the paper. He always had a joke and advice on the best art museums and how to see New York City. I was so touched though when he sent me a note when my husband died. I'm so sorry for your loss.
