Obituary published on Legacy.com by Null & Son Funeral Home on Jun. 27, 2025.
Charles "Chuck" Perry Bourland, of St. James, MO passed away Monday, June 23, 2025 at the age of 59.
He was born on September 4, 1965 in Belleville, IL to the late Charles Herman Bourland and Denzel Marie (Debra) Bourland. On June 30, 1984, he married Elaine Henson.
Chuck had a deep love for life's simple pleasures and adventures. He found joy in his guitar collection, and listening to music of all genres. He cherished spending time with his family. He enjoyed time spent in his pool. More recently, he liked fishing at Little Prairie Lake. For many years riding motorcycles was a great pleasure. He loved looking out over the hood of a truck, for twenty plus years he did so with Murdon Concrete Products. Chuck was a very cool man, renowned for his irreverent sense of humor. He could recite an impressive amount of trivia facts about his passions such as history, music, aliens and conspiracy theories. His unforgettable personality and easygoing nature made lasting memories for everyone who knew him.
Chuck will be greatly missed by his surviving family which includes: his wife, Elaine Bourland of St. James, MO; two daughters, Alisha Ramsey and husband Bryan Ramsey of Columbia, MO, Lorena Zachery and husband TJ of Rolla, MO; four grandkids, Zoey Zachery and partner Tyler Cook, Reagan Zachery, Jackson Zachery, Landon Zachery; one great grandchild, Weston Cook; and extended family in Illinois.
A graveside service for Chuck P. Bourland will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 1, 2025 at the Pea Ridge Cemetery in Doolittle, MO. A visitation for family and friends will be held prior to the graveside service beginning at 10 a.m. at the Null and Son Funeral Home in Rolla, MO.
