I loved going to their house and visiting with Charles and Mary Lou. He was always kind and loved talking about the time he and my dad grew up together. I remember when my mom passed away the first ones my dad called Charles and Mary Lou they came over immediately. They stayed with us most of the night, until my dad was able to rest, They came back the next afternoon to check on everyone. He will be missed and was definitely one of a kind, always caring and giving of his time, The world lost a beautiful soul and heaven received an angel.

I'm a new neighbor. It was so thoughtful of Mr Bradshaw to phone me to let me know that he had no problem with my building project near him that was troubling some citizens. Ninety-four years old and still caring about others. He made a difference in my life though it was only through a phone call. He told me a couple of stories about the history of my property and his. I wish I could have learned more about area history from him. I hope there is a record of his stories and knowledge of our area's history. Or that someone could record rememberances of his knowledge before it is forgotten. With respect, Steve Davis

Mary Lou, We are so sorry about Charles. He was truly one of the very best. I remember when you and he would come into the restaurant. I loved sitting with you all and hearing Charles' stories. I have always been very fond of you and Charles. You two are some of the best people I've ever known. My heart goes out to you and your family. I know this is a very difficult time for all of you. Mary Lou this is Sue and Bob from across the street. Bob had a new knee put in Monday and we are unable to attend Charlie´s service. We have just loved u guys for a long time! Loved being your neighbor and knowing the both of u thru Dad( Voll ). The apple pies u baked Bob. The times Charlie pulled us out of the ditch. You are missed already just knowing u are not across the street. We are so sorry. Didnt know until we were at therapy for first time that a friend ask if we knew u lost Charlie. Prayer going up for u during all that´s ahead of you. You both will be in our hearts forever . Bob just turn 85 himself so even if the Good Lord was to give us as long as Charlie it wont belong before we praise God along side of him.
