Charles Clifford Brink Sr., 56, passed away on January 6, 2026, at his home in Madisonville, Texas. He was born to proud parents, Thomas and Barbara Brink in Coshocton, Ohio, on March 4, 1969.

Charles, known affectionately as Chuck to his family and friends will be fondly remembered as a man who had a genuine care for those around him. He was always willing to step in and help when needed. He was generous to those who were dealing with challenges and never expected anything in return. Chuck was self-less and often displayed a quiet demeanor and when he did speak it was worthwhile to pay attention.

Chuck was passionate about many things, but football and NASCAR stood out above the rest! Dale Earnhardt Sr. was his favorite driver. He also had some hidden talents. One of these was chess and Chuck was a formidable opponent who was always more than willing to teach others how to play.

Chuck was a long-haul truck driver for thirty-six years and went the extra mile to take care of his family. He was a gifted navigator who could find his way to any destination. He was very smart, processed numbers well and had a goofy personality that those around him enjoyed. Above all, Chuck loved and adored his family and cherished his time with them. Chuck will be dearly missed by all those who knew him.

Chuck was preceded in death by both parents and his son, Charles Brink Jr.

Those left to cherish Chuck’s memory are his loving wife, Kim Durdin; his children, Rosalee, Barbara Jo, Sherè, Jerry and Halie; brothers, Thomas and William Brink; sister, Tammy Fancher; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and numerous other extended family and loving friends.

No services for Chuck are scheduled at this time.
