Dear Family and Friends of Charlie, I would just like to say that he was one of the finest men I ever had the pleasure of serving with in my 30+ years in uniform. You all are forever in my prayers. Steve Roman

I just found out about Chas and I am heartbroken. I am so very sorry to his children and brother and sister for their huge loss. I had spoken with him in April and he was dreaming about trips to take and places to go and see. How very sad. My condolences - he left us way too soon!

I recall helping to "onboard" Chuck when he joined Overlook in 2008. When I backfilled him as Secretary/Recorder of the NATO Navigation Warfare Capability Team in 2017, he returned the favor in spades with a full and complete transition and orientation to people, mission, and detailed processes of the team. He remained at my call as needed through 2018. We had a couple of great dinners together while in The Hague; I'll miss his energy and conscientious professionalism.... all good thoughts

Chuck was a great guy. I always enjoyed spending time with him. He was direct and said what he meant, but he was never preachy or arrogant; rather he had an easy way about him that always let people know he was helping them versus trying to one-up them. I have missed his companionship the last couple of years and offer my sincere condolences to his family, who will be without their Dad and Grandpa.
