Charles Frank Cain passed away peacefully February 14, 2023, at his home. 

He was born September 24, 1946, in Kilgore, Texas to Henry and Dorothy Harper Cain. Charles graduated from Quitman High School in 1965.  After graduation he went to work in Dallas for Dallas Power and Light until 1971, where he then went to work for Southwestern Electric Power Co. and retired in 2002. He was happiest RVing, being boat captain for the high school fishing team, and going to the College World Series each year in Omaha, Nebraska

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 55 years, Nancy Stanberry Cain; brothers Bob Cain and wife Yvonne, Larry Cain and wife Tommie, and Scooter Cain; aunt, Evelyn Harper; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Henry and Dorothy Cain; and sister-in-law Ann Cain.

Funeral service for Mr. Charles Cain will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, February 18, 2023, at Myrtle Springs Baptist Church with Pastor David Cook officiating.  Graveside service will follow at Myrtle Springs Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 - 7:00 PM Friday evening, February 17, 2023 at Lowe-Gardner Funerals & Cremations.
