I have wonderful memories of the times our families were stationed in Japan. My parents and 'Chuck" remained friends and kept in touch through the years. My dad also passed away this year so I'm hoping they have reunited in heaven. What I remember most about Mr. Cavin was his smile and the twinkle in his eyes and his gift for making you feel special. * Flying with the angels! *

He was the best father in law one could ask for, always there to assist and support. My family was blessed to have him in our lives. Words cannot describe my respect and admiration for Chuck Cavin.

What can I say about an angel in my life. He was magic! He made life easy. He made me feel safe and secure! He was better than a father, better than a brother, better than a friend! He was an angel to me and my family. I loved and respected him as no other I have ever known. I am glad he is not suffering anymore, but I am sad that he is not where I can talk with him and hear him giggle.

Charles was always special to me. We grew up in a time when children played outdoors and looked out for each other...we played lots of marbles and catch. When My husband--Billy--was in the hospital in Washington, DC, Charles was there to see if he could help. I will miss him.

I will always remember Charles with his 'knowing' smile and quiet ways. We grew up in a different time when cousins played together in the yard and looked after each other. He was special to me.

Uncle Chuck was much loved by our family! He always had a twinkle in his eye, and told the best stories. He made each of us feel so very special. After losing both of my parents, Uncle Chuck and Aunt Martha made sure they were at every important family event to support my husband, Doc, our children, and me, and it was always so comforting! Sara, Chris, Shelly and I shall miss him and always think of him with great love!
