Charles Ceppaluni

Charles Ceppaluni, 75, of Naples, FL, passed away on Monday, January 20, 2025, at Vitas Hospice.
Charles, formerly of Manalapan, NJ, had been wintering in Naples since 1994 and made it his permanent home in 2020. Born on November 4, 1949, in Guayama, Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Justo Garcia and Angelica Yili.
A proud U.S. Army Combat Veteran, Charles served in the 101st Airborne Division during the Vietnam War, earning two Bronze Stars. He later became the owner and operator of Dom's Lakeview Landscaping in New Jersey. A devoted member of the VFW, he was an active participant in both VFW Post 4374 in Freehold, NJ, and Post 4254 in Bonita Springs, FL.
Charles was passionate about many things, including being an avid car enthusiast and collector, a devoted golfer, and a lover of horseback riding. He found joy in attending car shows and driving his Corvette.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Joanne (Marinelli) Ceppaluni; his loving children, Valerie (Tom) Ouillette of Naples, FL, and Dominick Ceppaluni of Naples, FL; siblings Paula Ceppaluni of Freehold, NJ, Tony Ceppaluni of Fort Myers, FL, Vincent Ceppaluni of Delaware, Robert (Camille) Ceppaluni of Stafford Township, NJ, Migdalia (Tony) Garcia of Jacksonville, FL, and Eddie (Elizabeth) Garcia of Manhattan, NY; his grandchildren, Dylan, Colin, Gabriel, and Marcus; his adopted son, Meliton (Efiginia) Quinto and family; as well as many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Shikany's Bonita Funeral Home, 28300 Tamiami Trail South, Bonita Springs, FL 34134. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, January 29th, at 11:00 AM at Shikany's Bonita Funeral Home, with family receiving friends from 10:00 AM until the start of the service. Charles will be laid to rest with Military Honors at 2:00 PM at Sarasota National Cemetery, 9810 State Road 72, Sarasota, FL 34241.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made in Charles' name to Collier County Domestic Animal Services, 7610 Davis Blvd, Naples, FL 34104.
Charles will be deeply missed by all who knew him, and his memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
